At Integrate OT, we offer workshops and events designed to support families, educators, and allied health professionals in understanding and applying the DIRFloortime® model and neuro-affirming therapy practices.
Whether you’re new to DIR or looking to deepen your developmental lens, our trainings combine hands-on strategies with a strong focus on connection, regulation, and capacity-building.
👉 All events are suitable for professionals working with neurodivergent children, including OTs, speech therapists, educators, and parents.

Sydney DIR 101 (ICDL certified 2 day course)
Date: 28th- 29th March 2025

Cost: $495 (includes workbook + light catering)
Led by Louisa, a registered DIRFloortime® training leader through the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), this introductory course is ideal for parents, educators, and allied health professionals looking to build a strong foundation in the DIR-Floortime® approach.
In this comprehensive, ICDL-registered course, participants will explore:

The 6 developmental capacities in children, and how to nurture growth.

Identifying individual strengths and differences, including sensory processing profiles

Relationship-based principles at the heart of DIR-Floortime®
-
Learn how to use relationship focused, neuroaffirmiung strategies in everyday interactions- Home, school or therapy.
Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to begin applying the core principles of DIR-Floortime® immediately—and earn their ICDL certification in DIR 101.
DIR 101 – Orange NSW(In-Person 2 day Workshop)

This two-day, interactive workshop offers a strong foundation in the DIR Floortime® framework. It is ideal for OTs, speech pathologists, psychologists, educators, and parents seeking a neurodiversity-affirming approach. Led by Louisa Hunter a passionate OT of 20 + years and registered DIRFloortime® training leader through the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL),
Throughout the course, participants will explore:

Individual differences, including sensory processing profiles

The relationship-based principles that underpin the DIR-Floortime® model

Practical strategies for using Floortime techniques in everyday interactions
This ICDL-registered course provides a comprehensive overview of DIR-Floortime®, giving participants the knowledge and confidence to begin applying its core principles immediately.

Nature-based Homeschool Social Participation Group
Runs on Mondays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM during Term 2.
Location: Allambie scout hall
Ages: 4-6 years and 6-8 year olds
The session will focus on:

Supporting social participation and shared engagement

Emotional regulation through movement and connection

Building an appreciation for nature
Activities will include:

Gross motor play and familiar playground-style games
-
Nature-based craft and exploratory activities

Opportunities for co-regulation, turn-taking, and playful interaction
The group will be small (4 max) and supportive, with flexibility built in to respond to each child’s needs on the day.
